PhD BURSARIES FOR PRE-CONFERENCE AND CONFERENCE PROGRAMMES

PhD Bursaries are available for PhD students from EFMI and the Farr Institute. Please see below for details.

EFMI Bursaries – Deadline 6 February 2017

Bursaries provided by EFMI will cover the conference fee (student rate) only. Travel, accommodation and subsistence will not be covered.

Farr Institute Bursaries – Deadline 6 February 2017

The Farr Institute Network will provide up to 20 bursaries to support attendance of Farr Institute PhD students.

Bursaries will cover the registration fee for the Pre-conference Doctoral Symposium, the main conference and gala dinner ticket. Other expenses including travel, accommodation and subsistence need to be met by the attendee.

RISING STAR FUND (EARLY CAREER RESEARCHERS)

DEADLINE NOON, 20th FEBRUARY 2017

The Local Organising Committee are delighted to announce that, through generous external partner sponsorship, we are able to provide a limited no. of bursaries for Early Career Researchers for Informatics for Health 2017.

Nb. applicants must be an early career researcher – PhD students are not eligible. The funding will cover entry to the pre-conference tutorials, full ticket for the main conference, a gala dinner ticket, and up to £225 toward accommodation and expenses (all other expenses / subsistence need to be met by the attendee)
